Hephaestus is a texture creation tool designed mainly for indie game developers, but also for general artists who need textures without relying on massive asset libraries or photographed images. Using WebGPU compute shaders, Hephaestus generates complete material sets from mathematical noise and procedural algorithms, allowing the user to create variations of textures in real-time.
